Timeline

Here is a list of some of the donations we have made to our partners in Sierra Leone. This is in addition to our continuing commitments of regular funding.

You can also see the timeline for each of our projects separately: Mercy Children’s Home, Gbongay Village.

February 2019

£2000 to cover the final stage of repairs to the dormitory building.

January 2019

£1000 for deworming and vitamin A treatment for the school pupils and community of Adonkia.

December 2018

£480 to replace tyres on the Gbongay ambulance.

September 2018

£10,000 for the cost of purchasing and refurbishing a second hand vehicle to act as an ambulance for Gbongay Village Clinic.

August 2018

£700 for the cost of repairing the two wells in Gbongay village.

April 2018

£3000 to MCH for the ost of completion of major building project (repairs, extension and upgrade of kitchen facilities and the building of a dining/study hall).

Spring 2018

£300 to King of Glory Ministries as a ontribution towards the distribution of funds to low income members of the community needing to buy in essential supplies ahead of the run-off election.

February 2018

£450 donation to King of Glory Ministries to cover the cost of emergency medical fees (including major surgery) for two child victims of last year’s flooding and transport costs for a third who was moving to live with extended family.

November 2017

£550 to MCH as a contribution towards children’s home expenses (including relicensing and insuring the children’s home vehicle, drainage repairs and servicing of the bakery oven).

September 2017

£600 to King of Glory Ministries to provide one year’s school fees for 20 child victims of devastating flooding.

August 2017

£600 to King of Glory Ministries to distribute emergency flood relief supplies, including food, bedding and sanitary/medical products.

June 2017

£400 for school stationery, uniforms and general supplies for KOGM schools.

£200 to provide school stationery and general supplies for Adonkia Village School.

Fire alarms, extinguishers and other safety equipment provided for Mercy Children’s Home.

£800 to buy pigs, goats and chickens for the farm at Mercy Children’s Home. Also Purchase of a sewing machine.

£1000 to install five water pumps for wells in remote villages previously without safe water including the well at Gbongay Village Clinic.
