Gbongay Village Timeline

Here are donations Friends of Freetown has made over the years to the medical needs of Gbongay village. Regular support for upkeep of the clinic and its employees is not included.

December 2018	£480 to replace tyres on the Gbongay ambulance.
September 2018	£10,000 for the cost of purchasing and refurbishing a second hand vehicle to act as an ambulance for Gbongay Village Clinic.
August 2018	£700 for the cost of repairing the two wells in Gbongay village.
May 2017	£685 for lighting and refrigeration for Gbongay Village Clinic and Maternity Unit.
July 2016	£670 for interior finishing and initial furnishing of Gbongay Village Maternity Unit.
March 2014	1700: Construction of a maternity unit in Gbongay Village.
Summer 2012	£1000 to install five water pumps for wells in remote villages previously without safe water including the well at Gbongay Village Clinic.
